01 / How TAP works

A social league that still keeps score.

Bring your people or come solo. TAP is for adults who want the easy fun of rec league nights without the chaos of random open play.

01 / ROSTER UP

Build your six

Bring a full team, start with your core crew, or sign up solo. We will use the roster pool to help fill gaps before opening night.

02 / SHOW UP

Rotate and rally

Teams rotate doubles pairings across two courts. Everybody contributes, everybody gets court time, and every game belongs to the group.

03 / STAY IN IT

✦

Chase the season

Match nights turn into standings, playoffs, stories, and the exact kind of friendly trash talk the group chat was built for.

02 / The format

Not a drop-in.
Not a random bracket.

TAP turns casual pickleball into a team thing. You have people to show up for, a reason to improve, and a regular night that is actually worth putting on the calendar.

Teams are the point.

You are not just collecting games. You are building a season with a crew.

Balanced matchups.

Skill level and availability help make games feel competitive, not like a rescue mission.

Built for adults with lives.

Clear match nights, organized communication, and a format that respects your time.

THE TAP DIFFERENCE

League structure.
Friend-group energy.

Enough organization to make it feel real. Enough personality that it never feels like an obligation.

The roster

Bring your friends. Keep your friends.

Six-player teams mean your people are not just names on a sign-up sheet. They are your team.

The vibe

Talk trash. Make friends. Run it back.

Competitive enough to care. Welcoming enough that new players actually want to come back.

The season

Your games do not disappear when you leave.

Standings, stories, and postseason stakes give every match a little more weight.

03 / For captains

You bring the crew.
We run the league.

TAP captains are not unpaid event planners. You are the one who starts the group chat, pulls six people together, and makes sure nobody flakes when the season starts.

✓Simple roster and team communication
✓Clear schedules, results, and league updates
✓Help filling a couple roster spots if you are close
✓A league experience worth recruiting people into

05 / FAQ

The stuff your group chat is already asking.

Pilot Season registration is open. Here is what to know before you claim your roster spot.

Do I need a full team of six?

No. Choose an available team, enter a captain invite code, or register as a free agent and let TAP place you.

What skill level is this for?

TAP is a 21+ adult league for players who want organized, social team competition. Your experience level helps us build fair matchups.

Where and when will games happen?

Pilot Season runs October 28–December 9, 2026 at Dill Dinkers–Henderson, with matches in the 7:00–9:00 PM window. Registration is $100 per player and closes October 14.

Is this the same as open play?

No. TAP is a season-based team league. You show up for your squad, track results together, and compete in season standings.

Can I captain without being a pickleball killer?

Absolutely. Captain means organizer and culture-setter, not “person who serves the hardest.” The best captains get people to show up and keep the team having fun.
